This week was great and the Church is true!!
Another fast Sunday has come and gone. This Sunday we were able to have a confirmation of a wonderful sister and she was again happy to receive the Holy Ghost. This week I would say one of the huge miracles that we saw is that we found a wonderful Nigerian family that has been missing the church in their life for more than a year. We found them and were able to help them come back to church this week. We had a wonderful lesson with them on Friday about what more they have to do in this life such as receiving their temple endowments and temple sealing. As we shared some of these things with them and then they looked at each other with joy in their eyes and said we will be coming back to church this Sunday! The wife was baptized in 2002 and the husband was baptized just 3 years ago but they have been inactive for more than a year. After church on Sunday they met with the bishop and had a great meeting and then came to us and said “Will you please come and meet with us every Friday!! What a great miracle!!
The Church is true and missionary work is divine!!

Questions & Answers:
Q. In this area, do you have hot showers? Or is that even a possibility in any of your areas?
A. No hot showers. I only miss them in the mornings though. Every other time of the day I am too hot anyways to take a hot shower. It is only possible in 2 areas of the mission, so the possibilities of getting it is low.
Q. In the area you are in now, is it considered a high income, middle class or low income?
A. I would say middle class, but there are some nice places here. Most people that are rich here are people that travel to Accra every day for work.
Q. What do most men and women do for jobs/work to support their families?
A. Work in this country is not easy at all. Most people have shops to sell different things. Honestly work here is way different than it is back home. They can work really long days and earn only a little amount of money.
Q. How big is your ward in this area?
A. We have an average of around 115 come each week, so it is pretty good. I really love the members now in this area. There are a lot of people that spoil us and we have close relationships with a lot of people.
Q. Tell us what you love about the African culture.
A. I love so many things about this culture! I really love how friendly the people are here and how humble they are. This place is so great!
