It looked like you had a great week and it was fun to call you guys on Thanksgiving! It was fun to see everyone and talk to some other people as well!! Happy to hear that Josh & Alyssa made it there safely and back. Also, all the food looked so good as well as the pie!! I will surely enjoy that food next year!!
I am forever grateful for the most wonderful family that I have back home!! I can never be grateful enough for how strong every member in the family is in the gospel and how good of an example each person is. It is really rare for a whole family to be so strong and to be so tight in this world today and our family has that. I know it is because of the great head that we have in our family, that being you and dad!! You guys have always fulfilled what the Book of Mormon teaches and that is found in Mosiah 4:14-16 also found in Alma 56:47-48. I really appreciate the example that you and dad have been to us throughout my life.
I love my mission so much right now and I am loving the work. I was looking back at pictures from my last areas and I just felt an absolute joy of the work that I have done so far. The smiles that I see on other people's faces in the pictures as well as mine is absolutely priceless and worth every hard time that I have been through. That joy that I felt was just amazing. I have learned so much and made so many friends that I will never forget!! It just has really shown me how much the gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life for the better and what is really important in life, not the things of the world but rather everyone finding joy in Jesus Christ. Words cannot express the joy that I felt that night as I was looking at pictures of everything I have done for the last 15 months and I really know that this work is the most important thing that I could be doing at this time in my life! Know that your son is doing great on his mission!!
