Hey!! This week was a fantastic week!!
To start off this week was such a great week because of some great success that we had including 1 baptism, 2 confirmations (1 confirmation from this week’s baptism and 1 from last week’s baptism) and we took 1 of our recent converts to the temple. This week I have really been able to see the fruits of my labors and to see some of the people that I have baptized become really strong. I have loved being in this area and helping the work progress here. A lot of the people that were not even attending this church when I first got here are now people that this branch relies on to help out. They have really become strong and there are some great future leaders that I have been able to help and baptize. They are planning on giving callings to 4 of them this week which is super exciting. It is just overall really cool to sit back and see how missionaries can really help out those come into the light of Christ with the help of members. I really love the work that I am doing right now!! Going to the temple on Saturday with our recent convert, Gloria was so excited and she loved it so so much!! It was so cool to see the smile on her face while she was getting baptized for those who have passed on.
Also, this week there is a man we are teaching right now that is a school teacher and is really progressing. When we first met him he had so many questions and he still has a lot of questions but he is growing. It is so exciting to see some people grow and start to understand and receive the light of Christ.
I hope you all had a great week!! I love you!

Questions & Answers:
Q. Does Ghana have any holidays in the summer? If so, what are they?
A. I do not really know any of their holidays to be honest, but I do not think that there are too many. I know they just finished one that is called humu, it basically is just a time of quietness on a day where they do not make as much noise, not exactly what it is for either.
Q. What was your week like with teaching?
A. This week was really nice with a baptism this week and 2 confirmations and we also got to take Gloria to the temple for her first time so it was really cool!! We also were able to meet with a couple new people this week so overall it was a really good week.
Q. How was your faith tested this week?
A. This week it was just a little hard with finding new people to teach. I am starting to feel like I know this area pretty well and so sometimes it is just hard to believe that I will be able to find anyone new to teach that will understand my English. But overall everything is going good.
Q. What principle of the gospel is your favorite to teach about and why?
A. I love to teach about the plan of salvation and specifically life after death because most people do not really understand what happens after we die and when we explain to them you can see it open up a whole new level of thinking and purpose to life so it is pretty cool.
